Dialogue

Today we have the pleasure to speak to one of the last sheperds in this country, called Antonio, who thinks that his profession is dying out, and we're going to see some differences about their way of life now and before.

Pau: Hello Antonio! Today I would ask you something about this profession that is dying out; well, what do you think it's happening?

Antonio: Hi Pau! Yeah, I think that nowadays there aren't any shepherds and farmers because teenagers say that it's such a bad profession and so, they couldn't be happy living with a lot of animals and "shit".

Pau: But... if you do it, do you think that your profession is the best of all?

Antonio: No! I don't say that! For me, it's a good job because my parents taught me the best side of this world, and the best form to do it; and for this reason I work with lot of love.

Pau:
So... do you think that one of the reason that produced this "killing" is the little information that the boys have?

Antonio:
Yes, of course! I think that another reason that produced this "killing", like you say, (Laughs) is the construction of roads, so it's the same to say the destruction of fields. It's one of the most important differences in the way of my life now and before.

Pau:
Okey Antonio... I hope that your profession will never die out, and in a near future, we will speak about the "resurrection" of this profession. (Laughs)

Antonio: See you soon Pau!
