Transcription!
Hello everybody, my name is Pau Ubric and today I am going to talk you a little bit about my research project, which is called “We learn verbs”.
Firstly I want to explain you the most important objectives that my tutors and I proposed, then I show you the methodology, some decisions to elaborate my own material, the teaching materials, and finally I say you the conclusions I had got with this project.
Before to explain the objectives, I should say that I tried this subject because in a future I would like to study in the world of the education, and for this reason this project will be usefull for me.
Well, how I said, the principal objective of this research project was make a didactic material to learn a second language, but it entails others objectives that are: Learn about the didactic and learning of a second language and observe different materials in two classrooms of reception, for can make my didactic material with some observations.
Here, we can see the methodology that I did, and we observe that first of all I learned a little bit about the didactic of a second language with some observations in differents classrooms of reception and doing some notes about the material that the teacher use.
Then I was reading some books about the learning of a second language, and finally I did the didactic material, that consist in one material photographic and one material TIC, that it is a blog.
When I finished my observations in the classrooms of reception, I put the notes together and I see that there are a lot of children’s material, and there aren’t some material for teenager’s students, for it, I did one that can be usefull for all ages. Then I see that the majority material is about the vocabulary, for this reason I tried do one about verbs.
The students prefer informatics materials and games because are more entertaining
Now I am going to show you the didactic materials that I did. First we see the photographic material, that it consist of hundred photos with their name in other card; it have got one CD where are the 100 verbs to listen.
Then we can see the blog, that it was created for the students that would like to study in his home the most important verbs in Catalan; this blog have the 100 photographies, the pronunciation of the verb and the link that we click, it drive us to other page where are this verb conjugated. Then I do different activities for this students with one programme called “hot potatoes” that let me do a crossword puzzle, the tipical fill in the blanks exercise,... for these students.
Finally I can say that the practical and theoreticians goals have been attained; and that if I had disposed of more time for the realization of the work, I would have extended more.
But I’m happy with the work that I was doing these days.

About the characters I think they do very good own papers, especially Demetrius and Chiron, because they represent the folly youthful, because they love parties, girls, and they are very proud. On the other hand, the character that I don't like so much is the little boy, Julius because he don't do anything in the film, he only see around him.
A moment that I think it is the most shocking is when Marcus saw Lavinia's arm, because she had got branches instead of hands, and she was spitting blood when she spoke, because the two boys had cut her tongue. Another is when Titus killed his son to meet the emperor.
One feature that has been applied by Julie Taymor, excepting the feeling that produce some scenes because they look like a publicity of the TV, is the language, because it is based on Shakespeare, which it's simple but very beautiful.
In conclusion, I think that if you would like understand this film,you should read the Filomela and Progne's myth, which was written by Ovidio.

Carnival' 1o!
This year, my friends and I have made a float and we have participated in cercaviles of different villages: Sant Pere Pescador, Empuriabrava and Castelló d'Empúries. We were dressed up like soldiers, with a green helmet, a black t-shirt, some trousers like the ones that wear soldiers and we also painted a green and a black stripe on our face. We spent some weeks making the float, but the result was fantastic and we had a great carnival.
In the different villages we met other people and friends who were also dressed up. This year the fancy dress that has succeed is the one of gangsters (for the boys) and the one of cabaret (for the girls), there were a lot of people who dressed up like that.
The carnivals first started with the cercavila (a lot of people visited our float!) and then, normally in the “public building”of the village, it took place the rest of the party: all the people met there and there was a group of music that played there. For example, in Castelló d'Empúries played Pinocchio and Di-versiones, whereas in the other villages played some other bands. When these groups ended in some villages there was a DJ, but it was late and most of the people went back home.
Carnival is one of the best and funniest celebrations of all the year! And I can say that this year has been spectacular, and very beautiful. I’m impaciently for the next carnival!

"The joke club"

"El club del Chiste" or the joke club, is a new TV programe that is produced by Globomedia and it's presented by Anabel Alonso, who is very famous in this country. She is accompanied by the model Martina Klein, Leo Harlem, David Love, who is knowing for his participation in program's TVG, a Andalusian monologist called Diego Arjona and Meritxell Huerta, a catalan humorist.
While the programe, they are alternating on the stage of Antena 3 to hook up the viewer with a "marathon" of infallible jokes to all time and other a little current. It isn't a competition between the players, because the only goal of the program is to cause the greatest number of laughs per minute. In addition, CdC has got images of the backstage, where amaze by his innovative staging and his modern aesthetic which recall the famous new yorker's comedy clubs.
Every night, I hope that this program starts because I love some jokes, and then I like to explain some of it to my friends the next day, in class, because it's one way to don't hate the study. :) Now, I put here one video about this great programme which we can see everyday at 22:oo h. in Antena 3:
Description of Pep Guardiola
G: Hi Pau.
P: Hey Guillem!
G: Do you know who is Pep Guardiola?
P: Yes! He is a former Spanish football midfielder and nowadays is the current FC Barcelona manager. He spent the majority of his playing career in Barcelona FC, and was the captain of the team for the last four years of his time with Cruiff’s team.
G: I know it, but have you seen him? Well I mean physically...
P: Oh yes! One day I went to Camp Nou and I saw that he is medium height and bundle, because as I said before he was a very great player, and he has a dark skin colour. We can see that Pep hasn’t got a lot of hair, well he often had short hair. Another feature is that he wears really smart and very fashionable clothes, including in the matches.
G: Yes, I agree with you, but for me, the most outstanding is his personallity, because he is a person who takes care of every single detail and of everybody; well you only have to see the last season of his team, because they use the Pep’ slogan: persistence, respect, a great effort and a well done work. So, he think that impossible is nothing.
P: Oh you do a good description of him, because I think that it is the secret of this glorious team, for it, we can say that it is ...
G: Guardiola’s time!

The oral presentation
Now, for do the comment, I'm going to have grounds to the "evaluator's paper", which has the next structure:
Presentation:
I used a powerpoint because for us it is very useful to follow the structure of the presentation. Other thing that I did correct had been the oral presentation's time, because I was speaking about five or six minutes.
Body language & eye contact:
In my opinion, I think that I should look the audience all the time, because it means that the presenter has studied, and he doesn't need read the paper. Other thing, that I improved, is my nervousness, because the people, who are listening to us, note it and for this reason I decided to improve it; this time I had benn only a little bit nervious.
Structure:
For me, the structure of this oral presentation was right, because we did an introduction, the explication of my research project and finally some conclusions and I show to audience my own material, but I didn't use many discourse makers, and it was points against the note.
Content:
I hope that the content of this oral presentation had been entretaining and that we introduce new infotmation to the audience, well, I had done this research project with this goal.
Language:
About the language that I used in this oral presentation was more difficult, because the topic complicate it a lot, because I must to use specific words and connectors to enlared some paragraphs, but I used a lot of fillers like "well", "for example", “okey”...
Pronunciation & Intonation:
For me, it was the worst part of my oral presentation, well like every oral presentation, because it is very poor and I didn't intonated the best I know do; I'm sure I will to improve this part, and the next mark will be better than it. ;)
